Important information regarding my representation and advisory work as a QC

My professional regulator is the Bar Standards Board.  Their website can be found here

You can confirm that I am a registered barrister here

I undertake work via instructions from solicitors.

Sometimes, where appropriate I can accept instructions directly from the public.  There are strict rules about this and you should speak to my clerks to discuss whether your case is one which can be done in that way (and the costs involved).

The Bar Standards Board's have issued a guidance documents for lay clients on the subject of Public Access.  You can find it here.

The fees I charge vary.  On some occasions I work for an hourly rate, on other occasions for a brief fee and refreshers or  a fixed fee.

I do not negotiate my own fees for any work other than teaching work.  All bookings for work as a QC (representation and/or advisory work) must be made through my clerks.

They can be reached on 0207 7797 7788 or by email at clerks@lambbuilding.co.uk

Full details of my services, fees, complaints procedures and other information can be found on Lamb Building's website at http://www.lambbuilding.co.uk
